I began serving with Royal Family Kids this summer and though it has only been a year, this experience has been one of the most meaningful in my life as of late. Many of the children who participate lack stability in their lives and have experienced stressors beyond belief at such a young age. Through a simple week at camp during July, we are able to provide a safe and loving environment for the campers, where they get to just be kids, play hard, and experience the love of Christ through those volunteering. The most impactful thing for me to have seen during my time at camp was the immense growth I saw in each child by the end of the week in attitude, behavior, and outlook, something that would take months to accomplish in other settings.

This camp is beneficial to the children that participate in so many ways, and just as impactful for us volunteers. But unfortunately, such things don’t come without a cost, so I am raising $500 to help ensure that this year’s camp can be experienced by as many kids and volunteers as possible by offsetting the cost of the necessary resources.
